Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello!!! My name is DeAnna Christian. I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker with a supervisor designation. I have been independently licensed in the state of Ohio since 2004. I got into the social work field because I wanted to make a difference in a professional capacity. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including ADHD, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, drug addiction, psychosis, and PTSD. I have been a foster parent and adopted children, I have had family members with mental health issues, and am a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) .
My counseling style is warm and genuine. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I treat you as a person not a diagnosis. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and dialectical behavioral therapy. I will meet each client where they are at and tailor treatment to meet their needs.
It is not easy to reach out for help. It is not always easy to trust. I am here to support you and guide you.
I look forward to working with you!

Many people wonder whether remote therapy can really help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life transitions, online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person care.
One major benefit is flexibility – clients can connect in the way that works best for them, whether by video call, phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility often makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule.
Therapists offering these services are licensed professionals, and if someone decides they would prefer a different match, switching to another therapist is an option at any time.
