Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
As a psychotherapeutic counsellor, I have an innate belief in the positive nature of all of us. I believe we will strive to do the best for ourselves and that we have a desire to fulfil our true potential. I also believe that you are the expert on your own life and that you know what is best for you, even if sometimes that doesn’t feel true.
As human beings, we all had judgmental and critical messages imposed on us by others early in life, leading us to believe that we are only acceptable if we think, feel and behave in particular ways. Because we all have a need to feel valued, over time, our personal judgements, meanings and experiences can become displaced if we try too hard to belong and be accepted by those around us.
My aim is to provide an environment in which you will feel safe to explore and express your deepest conflicts, feelings, emotions and desires, confidentially and without being judged. A space where you can strengthen, accept and expand your own identity, and by challenging yourself, reconsider some of your beliefs that once served a purpose, but which now hold you back.
One of the most courageous acts we can ever make is to accept our vulnerabilities and look within ourselves to shift and develop as healthy individuals. By visiting my page, you’ve found the courage to take the first step. If you feel ready to take the second, contact me to schedule your 30 or 45 minute individual counselling session.

Daniel Angel is a psychotherapeutic counsellor who holds a firm belief in the positive nature of people. He works from the view that most individuals aim to do what is best for themselves and that there is an underlying desire to fulfil one’s true potential.
He also believes that each person is the expert on their own life, even when that certainty is hard to feel. Early life messages that were critical or judgmental can become internalised, prompting the sense that worth depends on thinking, feeling or behaving in particular ways. Because people need to feel valued, personal meanings and experiences can be pushed aside when fitting in becomes the priority.
His aim is to offer an environment where clients can safely explore and express deep conflicts, feelings, emotions and desires without being judged and with attention to confidentiality. In that space clients can strengthen, accept and broaden their sense of identity and by facing difficult material, reconsider beliefs that once served a purpose but now limit them.
Accepting vulnerability and looking inward to change and grow is one of the most courageous steps a person can take. Visiting Daniel Angel’s page can represent the first step; if someone is ready to continue, they can contact him to arrange a 30 or 45 minute individual counselling session.
Many people wonder whether online therapy can really help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been found to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions.
One of the main advantages is flexibility – clients can connect in the way that suits them best, whether through video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This range of options makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life.
Therapists offering online services are licensed professionals, and if a different fit is needed clients are free to switch therapists. For many people, online therapy provides an accessible and practical route to addressing everyday challenges and supporting personal growth.
