Dagmar Ball is a Person Centered/Humanistic therapist based in the United Kingdom with over 7 years of experience. She has worked with children, young people and adults from age 11 onwards, supporting a broad range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, Autism and ADHD, low mood, personality disorder, suicidal ideation and suicide.
She has also supported clients who have experienced physical trauma or abuse, including physical, sexual and financial abuse, domestic violence and childhood abuse. Her practice addresses trauma and abuse, grief, intimacy-related issues, ADHD, stress, addictions, parenting and relationship difficulties, anger, self-esteem, bipolar disorder, coping with life changes and compassion fatigue.
Dagmar’s therapeutic style is warm and approachable. Working from person-centred and humanistic principles, she adapts her approach when needed - thinking outside the box to tailor sessions to each person’s needs. She treats people with respect, sensitivity and compassion, and will challenge thought processes when appropriate.
Dagmar believes clients often hold the answers within themselves and aims to provide a gentle guiding hand to help remove the plasters (band aids) so healing can begin from within and people can work toward becoming the best version of themselves. She recognises the courage it takes to seek greater self-understanding and is prepared to travel alongside clients as they take the first steps toward change, helping them find inner peace and calm their inner seas. Dagmar looks forward to working with you.
Many people wonder whether online therapy can truly make a difference. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
A major advantage is flexibility - you can connect with a therapist in the way that feels most comfortable, whether by video call, phone session, live chat or in-app messaging. That flexibility makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy routine.
Sessions are provided by licensed professionals, and if you decide you would prefer a different fit you can switch therapists at any time.
