Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Social Worker in the State of Texas with 25 years of experience ranging from early childhood treatment to the elderly. My approach in therapy is of a Person-Centered, Solution-Focused nature and I have assisted clients with a wide range of concerns including significant life changes, parenting, foster care and adoption, divorce or separation, grief and loss, childhood or adult traumas, family issues, domestic abuse, relationship issues, early childhood intervention and medical needs, compassion fatigue, career, and individual spiritual walk. I focus on assisting the client with addressing emotional struggles and in how to face life events in a way that is safe, healthy and positive for them individually and not in comparison to others as each of our lives are unique and at times complicated. Working with a client to see that their life and situation may be unique BUT that they are definitely NOT ALONE and that there is both Hope and Help, is what drives me to continue with my passion to counsel those seeking support as they take their journey in this life. I want each client to feel that they are being heard and valued as they walk through situations with me and get help finding solutions to their need at hand. Oftentimes, a client simply needs to have a sounding board to help them line out their emotions and a course of action but then at other times they simply need professional support in learning about options for tools to use and approaches they can take as they work to address an issue at hand. The combination of my training in social work along with professional counseling, lends well to me working with a client needing both a person-centered but also a solution-focused approach to assist with positive and supportive change.

Many people wonder whether online therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or managing life transitions, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
A major benefit is flexibility – clients can connect in the way that fits them best, whether through video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. That flexibility makes it easier to incorporate therapy into a busy schedule and to continue care across different circumstances.
Therapists who provide online services are licensed professionals, and individuals may choose to switch therapists if they feel a different fit would be better. Online therapy offers an accessible option for receiving support while maintaining the same professional standards expected of counseling practice.
