Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello, I’m Chris. Thanks for looking at my profile. I am trained in a variety of different counselling techniques to assist you in finding relief, peace and transformation. You might feel stuck, angry, upset, overwhelmed, or lost. Maybe you look back and wonder what could have been. You’re not alone. I can offer you a space to speak freely, be heard, and deeply valued, while also including you in the counselling decisions. Perhaps you want somebody to sit with you as you untangle the heaviness in the room, somebody to help you make sense of a past event or thoughts of the future, or strategies to assist in day-to-day living.
I try and work collaboratively with you – listening to what you are bringing and offering different ways of working. I am trained in psychodynamic, person-centred and CBT modalities and tailor my practice to you as an individual. Sort of like a best hits of counselling.
I offer a warm, inclusive approach. I have 14 years experience working in education and over two years volunteering with MIND as both a dementia support volunteer and a counsellor. These experiences have shaped how I listen, connect, and support people in a way that values their story and individuality.

He aims to help clients find relief, greater peace, and meaningful change by listening closely and including them in decisions about the direction of their counselling.
He works alongside people who want someone to sit with them as they untangle difficult feelings, make sense of past events or worries about the future, or learn practical strategies for day-to-day living. His approach is flexible and tailored to each individual – listening to what a person brings and offering different ways of working.
Christopher is trained in psychodynamic, person-centred and CBT modalities and combines elements from these approaches to suit the needs of the person in front of him. He describes his manner as warm and inclusive, and he works from a non-religious, liberal perspective. He is a male therapist and identifies as gay, and he lists LGBT support among his specialities.

Those roles have shaped how he listens, connects and supports people in ways that value each person’s story and individuality.
Many people wonder whether connecting with a therapist online can make a real difference. For a range of common concerns – including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and navigating life changes – online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional face-to-face sessions.
One major benefit is flexibility. Clients can choose the mode of contact that suits them best – video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – making it easier to fit therapy into a busy life and to connect in the way that feels most comfortable.
Therapy provided online is delivered by licensed professionals, and individuals may change therapists at any time if they feel a different fit would be helpful. This approach can make therapy more accessible while preserving the ability to work with an experienced therapist on the issues that matter most.
