I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas. My master’s degree is in counseling but my doctorate degree is in educational leadership. I have worked in the field of education supporting individuals and families as a teacher, school counselor, and administrator for 29 years. I am a survivor of a genocide and grew up in an Asian family. I look forward to helping individuals becoming the best version of themselves.
I believe supporting the individual needs of each client is my main therapeutic purpose. Emotional and social wellness are essential components of a healthy life. Relationships with different people such as family, friends, acquaintances, and employers may influence our mental wellness. When mental health issues are not addressed, feelings of hopelessness and dissatisfaction with different facets of life, may occur leading to an unfulfilled and inauthentic life.
I look forward to working with you.

Many people wonder whether online therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or adjusting to life changes, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person care.
One of the main benefits is flexibility – clients can choose the format that fits their schedule and comfort level, whether that is a video call, a phone session, a live chat, or messaging within an app. This adaptability makes it easier to keep consistent appointments and integrate support into a busy life.
Licensed professionals provide online therapy, and clients have the option to change therapists if they prefer a different fit. For many people, accessible, flexible sessions make it possible to address common mental health concerns and move forward with practical strategies and support.
