Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am an integrative counsellor which means I believe the past, especially our relationship (or lack of relationship) with our parents/caregivers shapes the person we are today. As your counsellor aim to provide a safe space for us to work through your issues, recognising and changing unhelpful beliefs with a view to helping you towards becoming your best self. I believe like a phoenix we all have the ability to rise from the ashes and it helps to have a counsellor who you feel is really in your corner.
I draw on the person-centred approach of counselling and the psychodynamic approach to help you tackle a wide range of issues that get in the way of your happiness and living your best life. I also use elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
I believe in life no-one should have to suffer in silence and that no-one is beyond help if they are willing to work at it. Sometimes you may not have someone to really listen to you and that’s what I’m here for. In addition to that If you are committed I will be committed to helping you to rise up, stand tall and work towards becoming your best self.

Caroline Lazarus is an integrative counsellor based in the United Kingdom with 4 years of experience. She believes that the past, and especially the relationship – or absence of a relationship – with parents and caregivers, plays a significant role in shaping who a person becomes.
In her practice she aims to provide a safe space where clients can explore their concerns, identify and challenge unhelpful beliefs, and work towards greater wellbeing. Her approach combines person-centred values with psychodynamic insight, alongside practical elements drawn from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
Caroline often uses the image of the phoenix to express her hopeful outlook – that people have the capacity to rise from difficult circumstances – and she emphasises the value of having a counsellor who truly feels supportive and committed.
She holds the view that no one should have to suffer in silence and that change is possible for those willing to engage in the process. When a client is ready to commit, Caroline commits to supporting them to rise up, stand taller, and work towards becoming their best self.
