Dr. Carol Antosh is a California-based clinician with a Ph.D. in Psychology and more than 30 years of professional experience. She holds California credentials to practice as a marriage and family therapist and as an educational psychologist, and she is board certified as a school neuropsychologist.
Her background includes substantial work with neurodiversity and autism, and over the course of her career she has developed a focus on helping people cope with grief and loss, navigate relationship challenges, resolve family conflicts, and address motivational concerns tied to depression and loneliness. She also works with issues of self-esteem and life transitions.
Dr. Antosh approaches therapy from a stance that values an open, nonjudgmental environment where thoughts and feelings can be expressed safely. She encourages those seeking help to acknowledge the courage it takes to begin the process and supports clients as they take that first step.
Many people wonder whether virtual therapy can truly help. For a range of common concerns – including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and adjusting to life changes – online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One major advantage is flexibility. Individuals can connect with a therapist in the format that suits them best – video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – which often makes it easier to maintain regular appointments amid busy schedules.
Each participating clinician is a licensed professional, and clients have the option to change therapists if they need a different fit. This combination of effectiveness and adaptable access makes online therapy a practical option for many people seeking support.
