Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida and have approximately 10 years experience working in the areas of substance abuse, family/couples counseling and mental health. I have lived most of my life in Georgia and worked with military families and couples for almost two years before my move to Florida. I have worked with individuals with the following concerns: anxiety, self harm, gender dysphoria, substance use disorders/addiction, co-occurring disorders, grief & loss, psychosis, PTSD, trauma, and ADHD .
My counseling style is laid back and collaborative. I often like to give homework assignments to practice items that we’ve talked about in session, but I want you to get the most of our time together. I think that I have a very compassionate and empathetic style of confrontation and believe that rapport building is one of the most key parts of the process. I believe in a team approach as we make progress towards your goals. As a transparent note, I will not consider providing any letters or documentation until we have worked together for a consistent amount of time (no less than 6-8 sessions).
I am mother to a toddler boy and have a husband who is gone for work often so my schedule is not as open as I would like. Please feel free to message me with specific requests or needs and I will accommodate as much as I can.
I look forward to working with you.

Breanne Stanert is a licensed mental health counselor practicing in Florida with 14 years of clinical experience. She has a background treating substance use issues, family and couples concerns, and a range of mental health needs, and she spent nearly two years working with military families and couples before relocating from Georgia to Florida.
Her work has included supporting people facing anxiety, self-harm, gender dysphoria, substance use disorders and addiction, co-occurring disorders, grief and loss, psychosis, PTSD and trauma, and ADHD. In addition to these areas, she offers help with stress, self-esteem, relationship and parenting issues, career difficulties, depression, coping with life changes, and compassion fatigue.
Breanne’s counseling approach is relaxed and collaborative. She often assigns practical exercises to practice between sessions and emphasizes building rapport as a core part of progress. Her style blends compassion with gentle, direct feedback, and she believes in working as a team with clients to reach their goals. As a note about documentation, she does not consider providing letters or paperwork until a consistent therapeutic relationship has been established – typically no less than 6-8 sessions.
She is a mother to a toddler boy and has a husband who is frequently away for work, so her schedule can be more limited at times. Prospective clients are encouraged to message with specific scheduling needs or requests, and she will accommodate when possible. She looks forward to working with new clients and supporting them through their challenges.
For many common concerns – including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and adjusting to life changes – online therapy can be just as effective as traditional in-person care. Research and clinical experience support its usefulness for these types of issues.
One of the primary benefits is flexibility. Clients can choose the format that suits them best, connecting by video call, phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. This range of options makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule and to maintain continuity of care.
Therapists who provide online services are licensed professionals, and clients may change therapists at any time if they feel a different fit would be more helpful. Online therapy can offer practical, accessible support for many people seeking help with everyday mental health concerns.
