Dr. Ann Moore

Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships

About

Hello! My name is Dr. Ann R. Moore and I am a licensed psychologist who specializes in working with late-stage adolescents and young adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression and other social/emotional problems stemming from difficult life transitions. I also work as a parent coach to enhance family dynamics and functioning. I was trained as a cognitive behaviorist who works to provide a warm and supportive environment for people wanting to develop new patterns of behavior and improve their daily experience and relationships with others. I have a specialization in positive psychology and utilize techniques from this tradition to help people harness their inner strengths and natural resiliencies to improve their overall well-being and life satisfaction. I offer a warm and compassionate space for people to explore their life, gain insight into their behavior patterns, and gain the valuable skills needed to create happier and more satisfying lives.

I earned my doctorate in School Psychology from Indiana University in 1993. Since then I have worked as an outpatient therapist, a behavioral consultant and provided parenting advice to many. I am the proud mother of 4 young adult children and believe my own parenting experience has greatly enhanced my professional understanding and given me greater empathy and understanding for the adolescents, young adults and parents I serve.

I an excited to join the Better Help Team because it makes psychology accessible to everyone. Life today presents may challenges and it takes courage to seek help. I would be honored to assist you in your journey toward a healthier and happier life.

Is Online Therapy the Right Step Toward Better Mental Health?

For many common concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes – online therapy has been found to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions. One major strength of remote care is its flexibility. People can connect with therapists in the way that suits them best, whether through video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This range of options can make it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule and to maintain continuity of care. Each therapist is a licensed professional, and clients have the option to switch therapists at any time if they would like a different match.
