Dr. Ann R. Moore is a licensed psychologist in Indiana with 20 years of experience focused on late-stage adolescents and young adults facing anxiety, depression and social or emotional difficulties that often arise during significant life transitions.
She also works as a parent coach to support healthier family functioning and improved dynamics. Her clinical specialties include stress, anxiety, parenting issues, self-esteem, depression, coping with life changes, addictions, LGBT concerns, relationship and family conflicts, trauma and abuse, grief, anger management, bipolar disorder, compassion fatigue, and ADHD.
Trained as a cognitive behaviorist, Dr. Moore combines a warm, supportive approach with skill-building techniques to help people develop new behavior patterns and enhance daily functioning and relationships. She also draws on a specialization in positive psychology to help clients identify and use their inner strengths and natural resiliencies to boost overall well-being and life satisfaction.
Dr. Moore earned her doctorate in School Psychology from Indiana University in 1993. Since then she has worked as an outpatient therapist, served as a behavioral consultant, and provided parenting guidance to many families. She is the proud mother of four young adult children and believes her own parenting experience has deepened her professional empathy and understanding for the adolescents, young adults, and parents she serves.
She is excited to join the Better Help Team because it makes psychology more accessible. Dr. Moore welcomes the courage it takes to seek help and would be honored to support people on their journeys toward healthier, more satisfying lives.
