Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
As a marriage and family therapist licensed in the state of California, I have over 25 years experience working with a diverse population; That experience has led me to help people with trauma, PTSD, women’s issues, grief, addictions and attachment related disorders. I also utilize art therapy and animal therapy in my clinical practice.
My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, believing that every client is unique in their own perception and life experience. My approach combines a more humanistic, dynamic approach. I also enjoy rational-emotive based therapy and Minuchin’s Structural approach.
It takes courage to seek therapy and to take those first steps toward actual change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to listen, support, and empower you to do so.
I look forward to working with you!

Angelique Gettle is a marriage and family therapist with more than 25 years of clinical experience, based in California. She works with a diverse population and has focused much of her practice on trauma and abuse, PTSD, women’s issues, grief, addictions, and attachment-related concerns, along with stress, anxiety, depression, self-esteem challenges, coping with life changes, relationship and family conflicts, intimacy-related issues, and compassion fatigue.
She integrates expressive modalities into her work, including art-based interventions and animal-assisted therapy, to support healing alongside talk-based approaches. Her counseling style is warm and interactive, grounded in respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and responsive to each person’s unique life experience and perspective.
Angelique blends a humanistic, dynamic orientation with rational-emotive techniques and elements of Minuchin’s Structural family therapy. She holds marriage and family therapy licenses in both New Mexico and California, and brings a collaborative, empowering stance to the therapeutic process. Seeking therapy takes courage – she is available to listen, support, and encourage clients as they pursue meaningful change, and she looks forward to working with those ready to take that step.
For many common concerns – including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions – remote therapy can be as effective as traditional in-person care. Research and clinical experience indicate that these kinds of issues often respond well to virtual counseling.
One of the primary benefits is convenience and flexibility. People can meet with a therapist through the format that fits their daily life and comfort level – video sessions, phone calls, live chat, or in-app messaging – which makes it easier to maintain consistency and access support when needed.
All participating therapists are licensed professionals, and clients may change therapists at any time if they seek a different fit. Online therapy offers a practical way to receive professional guidance for many everyday mental health and relationship concerns while accommodating busy schedules and geographic limitations.
