Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Sometimes life changes and you can feel lost, stuck or even hopeless at times. Starting therapy can feel scary and you may ask yourself questions such as: what is it going to be like? Will I be ‘fixed’? There is always hope and working collaboratively with you towards your goals you will gain insights and tools to help you. You might be suffering from anxiety, depression or have difficulties that you want to go through and make sense of. I have experience working with a wide range of clients who, like yourself, all had their own unique life experiences and issues.
Treating each client with the utmost but equal importance, the sessions are client led meaning you are safe, in control and set themes and goals which we will work together on to help you on your journey. You are a unique individual and we will work in a way that is tailored to your needs integrating different theories and techniques that are suitable for the current session. I place importance on the therapeutic relationship, bringing my genuine positive and relaxed self so that you can feel at ease and supported in a non-judgemental way.
Personal growth lasts a lifetime, we are never too old to change or grow and that isn’t wasted time but lessons learned towards a positive future. Therapy may only be one hour a week but I spend considerable time researching and carefully considering how I can help clients enact positive change between sessions. I don’t require clients to do ‘homework’ but I’m always happy to set clients tasks or readings to help their emotional wellbeing between weekly sessions; to help them get to feeling better about themselves and situations and ensure getting the most out of their valuable time.
Working with a wide range of people and their problems including commonly misunderstood topics such as neurodiversity and men’s issues, has given me the experience and insight to help these under supported groups and their issues with real success.
I am a registered member of the BACP and as such am held to a high standard of ethics and practice.
