Aishah Elgindy is a registered member of the BACP and has practised as a counsellor for over 10 years. Her training includes roles within the NHS as a bereavement counsellor and work at a specialist women and children’s antenatal counselling centre.
She has also spent more than four years in mental health recovery services and works primarily as a Person-Centred Counsellor while taking an integrated approach - supporting clients as a mentor and life coach when appropriate. Her experience includes working with women diagnosed with Asperger’s, OCD, ADHD, depression and anxiety, as well as those coping with family conflict, trauma, abuse and grief.
Her background covers antenatal and postnatal depression and supporting clients after the loss of a child. She aims to create an open, safe space where people can explore their thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment.
