Aaron Bunker helps clients navigate life’s inevitable challenges with practical, compassionate support. He works with individuals and couples facing situational stressors as well as longstanding patterns that benefit from professional processing, offering steady guidance through each person’s therapeutic needs.
He brings experience with a diverse range of people across different mental health, cultural, racial, religious, sexual, and gender backgrounds. His primary aim is to help clients feel seen, valued, and empowered to pursue their best possible lives.
Aaron earned a master’s degree in counseling more than a decade ago and completed a post-master’s internship at a large nonprofit counseling center in the Houston metro area. After becoming licensed, he continued serving in the nonprofit sector while also maintaining a private practice. Over the years he has pursued further training in couple work through John Gottman method training and has become a certified sex therapist. Although he has an extensive background with couples, Aaron emphasizes that therapy centers on each individual’s work in their own life, and he integrates current mental health treatments into personalized care plans.
He intentionally cultivates a safe, open environment where sensitive topics can be explored and processed in a healing setting. Aaron is passionate about meeting clients where they are, honoring their stories, and helping them move toward the potential inside them. Interested individuals can message him to schedule an appointment and collaboratively plan steps toward the life they long for. He is licensed to practice as a professional counselor in Texas, holding license number 70721.
