Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello! My name is Dr. Ann R. Moore and I am a licensed psychologist who specializes in working with late-stage adolescents and young adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression and other social/emotional problems stemming from difficult life transitions. I also work as a parent coach to enhance family dynamics and functioning. I was trained as a cognitive behaviorist who works to provide a warm and supportive environment for people wanting to develop new patterns of behavior and improve their daily experience and relationships with others. I have a specialization in positive psychology and utilize techniques from this tradition to help people harness their inner strengths and natural resiliencies to improve their overall well-being and life satisfaction. I offer a warm and compassionate space for people to explore their life, gain insight into their behavior patterns, and gain the valuable skills needed to create happier and more satisfying lives.
I earned my doctorate in School Psychology from Indiana University in 1993. Since then I have worked as an outpatient therapist, a behavioral consultant and provided parenting advice to many. I am the proud mother of 4 young adult children and believe my own parenting experience has greatly enhanced my professional understanding and given me greater empathy and understanding for the adolescents, young adults and parents I serve.
I an excited to join the Better Help Team because it makes psychology accessible to everyone. Life today presents may challenges and it takes courage to seek help. I would be honored to assist you in your journey toward a healthier and happier life.
