Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Welcome! My name is Christie Jacobus and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Board approved Supervisor (LPC-S) in the state of Texas. I have been a therapist for over 12 years serving a variety of clients in both public agencies and private practice. I have experience with individuals, families, and groups experiencing challenges related to relationship and family concerns, parenting issues, and career conflicts. Additionally, I have over 30 years of experience as a Registered Nurse and I understand the correlation between physical and emotional health, and I have worked with many clients to improve their health and wellness. I also have experience working with domestic violence, physical and emotional trauma.
I love working with people and my approach to counseling is to work together to help clients grow and become the best version of themselves. I use a variety of skills and interventions based on cognitive behavioral, client centered and solution -based therapies. Since each client is unique, we will collaborate to meet the needs and goals of the person. I think every individual is entitled to compassion, dignity and respect. Open and honest communication in a warm non threatening environment is key to our success.
It can be difficult to ask for help and finding the right fit for a counselor is very important. I wish you success on having a more healthy and vibrant life and if I can be of assistance, I welcome the opportunity to share the journey.
Thank you

Many people ask whether online therapy can truly help. For a range of common concerns – including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, and major life changes – online therapy has been shown to be comparable to traditional in-person care for many individuals.
One of the main benefits is convenience. Clients can meet with their therapist in the format that best fits their life: video sessions, phone calls, live chat, or messaging within an app. That flexibility makes it easier to maintain regular appointments.
Therapists offering these services are licensed professionals, and if someone feels they need a different therapeutic fit, it is possible to switch providers. For many people, online therapy offers an accessible and effective option for addressing everyday mental health and relationship concerns.
