Camille Green

Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships

About

Greetings! My name is Camille Green. Please feel free to call me by my first name. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in states of North Carolina, Georgia, and Nevada. I have been fortunate to work with many different people from all walks of life for over 13 years. As a LMFT, I have worked with adults individually and through couples and marital therapy. I have also worked with the LGBTQ+ population throughout my 13 years of experience. This work has included working with adults experiencing issues surrounding gender identity and interests in same-sex relationships. In addition, I have had substantial experience working with same-sex couples in couples, pre-marital, and marital therapy. Being a therapist who is also in a same-sex marriage, I directly identify with some of the issues within the LGBTQ+ population, perhaps providing a better understanding as to how to approach matters pertaining to the population.

I am a therapist who takes a holistic approach, getting to know the whole person in an effort to better assist them in meeting their personal goals and ultimately feeling better. All facets of an individual’s life are important; Including one’s cultural background, spirituality, sexuality, and social and economical status, etc.

I have extensive experience working with individuals in crisis, those who have experienced marital infidelity, those with depression and anxiety, the military population, and those with Serious and Persistent Mental Illnesses. I have worked in inpatient, outpatient, and community mental health settings. Some of the modalities that I utilize are Brief Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Structural Therapy. However, I am a therapist who likes to “meet the individual where they are,” realizing that most people require an eclectic approach, encompassing various modalities.

My goal is to make you feel that you are in a safe, non-judgmental, professional atmosphere where you feel comfortable to share your thoughts, feelings, and emotions in an effort for me to assist you in the best manner possible. I am looking forward to working with you and seeing you succeed! Here’s to discovering your inner strength and ability to conquer anything life tries to throw at you.

Remember…”Don’t watch the clock; Do what it does. Keep going.” ~Sam Levenson

About

Camille Green is a licensed marriage and family therapist practicing in Georgia and North Carolina who brings 14 years of clinical experience to her work. She has supported adults individually and in couples and marital therapy, and has substantial experience with the LGBTQ+ community, including individuals navigating gender identity and people and couples exploring same-sex relationships.

Having worked in inpatient, outpatient, and community mental health settings, Camille has experience with people in crisis, those coping with marital infidelity, depression, anxiety, the military population, and individuals living with serious and persistent mental illnesses. Her clinical work spans a broad range of concerns such as stress, addictions, trauma and abuse, grief, intimacy and parenting issues, anger management, self-esteem, career difficulties, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and compassion fatigue.

Camille favors a holistic, person-centered approach that considers cultural background, spirituality, sexuality, and socioeconomic context when helping someone meet their goals. She uses a flexible, eclectic toolkit and commonly draws from Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Structural Therapy, adapting methods to meet each person where they are.

As a therapist who is also in a same-sex marriage, Camille identifies directly with many of the experiences faced by members of the LGBTQ+ population, which informs her perspective when working with related issues and same-sex couples in premarital and marital therapy.

Is Online Therapy the Right Choice for Your Mental Health Journey?

Many people want to know whether online therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life transitions, remote therapy has been found to be effective in much the same way as traditional in-person care.

A major benefit of online sessions is flexibility. Individuals can choose the communication style that fits their routine and comfort level – video calls, phone appointments, live chat, or in-app messaging – making it easier to attend sessions without rearranging daily life.

Another advantage is access to licensed professionals from different locations, and clients have the option to change therapists if they want a different fit. For many typical mental health and relationship issues, online therapy provides a practical, accessible path to support and progress.
