Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am licensed in California with 14 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress, anxiety, coping with addictions, trauma, abuse, & eating disorders. I also have experience working with depression. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.
I came to this profession based on my own experience with therapy, which changed my life. I want my clients to feel safe, seen, and heard. I believe that this must happen in order for clients to gain trust in me as a therapist.
I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Trauma Informed Therapy, and Attachment Based Therapy with my clients, but I believe that an integrative therapy is the best so that client’s can benefit from them all, concurrently.
I provide a warm, respectful, and compassionate space for my clients so that they can feel safe to open up and do the work that enables them to live their best life. The client is always the expert on themselves, but can benefit from a different perspective. I can help point out patterns of behavior that might be holding clients back and interfering with the growth most people wish to achieve.

Elizabeth Haughey is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in California (CA LPCC 15110) with 14 years of experience providing therapy. She works with stress, anxiety, addictions, trauma and abuse, eating disorders, and depression.
As a female, non-religious therapist, she approaches each person with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, tailoring conversations and treatment plans to match individual needs. Elizabeth emphasizes collaboration and adapts her work to what each client finds most helpful.
She entered this field because therapy changed her own life, and that experience shapes her commitment to creating a space where clients feel safe, seen, and heard so trust can develop. Elizabeth recognizes the courage it takes to pursue a more fulfilling life and aims to support and empower clients through that process.
Her clinical approach draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Trauma-Informed Therapy, and Attachment-Based Therapy, used in an integrative way so clients can benefit from multiple methods concurrently. She provides a warm, respectful, and compassionate environment and helps clients identify patterns of behavior that may be holding them back while treating the client as the expert on themselves.
For many common concerns – like stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes – online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One of the primary advantages is flexibility. People can meet with a therapist in the way that feels most comfortable – through video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – which can make it much easier to fit therapy into a busy routine.
Care is provided by licensed professionals, and clients have the option to change therapists at any time if they want a different fit. This combination of accessibility and professional support makes online therapy a practical choice for many seeking help with everyday mental health concerns.
