About

Welcome — I am so glad you’re here.
My name is Jennifer. I am a licensed counselor and certified marriage and family therapist, with 15 years of clinical experience. Taking the initiative to meet with a therapist takes courage. Congratulations on taking this courageous step. No matter what your goals or issues you are facing, we can work on them together. With a personalized and integrative approach, I draw from a variety of evidence-based techniques that are tailored to your individual needs. My passion is to empower my clients, help you reach your unique goals, build upon your strengths, and navigate through the challenges you are facing. I offer a safe and supportive space to explore your thoughts and emotions without judgment, as well as gain new perspectives and develop tools to cope and grow.

I work with a wide range of mental health and substance abuse challenges, including anxiety, depression, grief, OCD, relationship issues, addiction, anger management, social anxiety, life transitions, family conflict, ADHD, and more. I bring a unique blend of expertise to my clients. I have worked with individuals struggling with issues ranging from daily stress to severe complex mental health concerns, in a variety of settings, including behavioral health hospitals, emergency rooms, hospital medical floors, and outpatient programs. I also served as the lead counselor for over 10 years at one of the largest behavioral health hospitals in Georgia, providing services to clients, as well as supervising other counselors. I earned two degrees from the University of Georgia, which also provided me the honor to gain research experience in the psychopharmacology laboratory at UGA.

Is Online Therapy the Right Step Toward Better Mental Health?

Many people wonder whether online therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions.

One major benefit of remote care is flexibility – clients can connect in the format that feels most comfortable, whether by video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule and maintain continuity of care.

Every therapist involved is a licensed professional, and clients have the option to switch therapists at any time if they want a different fit. Online therapy can provide accessible support for many people seeking change, growth, and relief from everyday and persistent concerns.
