Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello and thank you for taking the time to visit my profile. First of all congratulations on taking the first step in looking for support and seeing what is available out there.
Some information about me, my name is Linda Austin, I am a qualified counsellor and with a wide range of experience. I have worked within the criminal justice system, domestic abuse, drug and alcohol services, behaviour change interventions, as well as relationships and day to day issues relating to anxiety and depression too.
I am unique in my style of counselling, I am straight talking, I will give honest and direct feedback should you seek it, and will offer forms of guidance where requested. But in addition to this, I believe you are the expert on you. I will listen to you, I will not judge you. Counselling for me is a collaborative effort, where as much as I am here to support you, I am also someone who will be real and share my own lived experiences should they be relevant.
So if you have got this far and you would like to give therapy a go, feel free to book a session, and lets work together to get you the best outcome for you.

Many people wonder whether connecting with a therapist online can really help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit is flexibility – people can choose the mode of contact that suits them best, whether that is a video call, a phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life and to engage in a way that feels comfortable.
Therapists offering online services are licensed professionals, and individuals may switch therapists at any time if they feel a different fit would be better. Online therapy can be an accessible option for many seeking support for everyday mental health and relationship concerns.
