My Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling and Coaching
Currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Advanced Psychotherapy
My academic background has provided a solid foundation in the principles of counselling and psychotherapy. The advanced coursework in my Master’s program is deepening my knowledge and enhancing my ability to offer evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
My Treatment Approach
As an integrative therapist, I utilize a combination of therapeutic modalities to create a personalized treatment plan tailored to each client’s unique needs. My approach is holistic and client-centred, drawing from the following therapeutic frameworks:
Person-Centred Therapy: Creating a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental environment where clients can express themselves freely and explore their feelings and thoughts.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Helping clients identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviours to improve their emotional well-being.
Psychodynamic Therapy: Exploring the unconscious mind and understanding how past experiences influence current behaviour and emotions, aiming for deep-seated change.
Solution-Focused Therapy: Concentrating on clients’ strengths and resources to develop practical strategies for achieving specific goals and resolving present challenges.
By integrating these approaches, I can adapt to the evolving needs of my clients, ensuring each session is both relevant and effective. My aim is to empower clients, focusing on their strengths and resilience to promote self-efficacy and well-being.
