Hi, my name is Matt and I’m an Integrative counsellor with 12 years post qualification experience. My aim is to build a relationship of trust, help you understand the difficulties you may be dealing with so you can make choices towards living the life you want. Sounds easy in words right? Starting counselling is daunting and going through the process is hard as it will more than likely bring up uncomfortable emotions, thoughts, memories, realisations and truths. However, and this is where i’d like to help, with empathy, time, compassion and understanding we can work together and get you to the place you live your life as you want.
Over the years I’ve worked with clients of all ages from from all walks of life struggling with issues such as depression, anxiety, panic attacks, loneliness, bereavement, relationship issues, family issues, stress, trauma, OCD, sexual abuse and childhood trauma.

Many people wonder whether therapy delivered online can make a meaningful difference. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions for most common issues.
One of the main advantages is flexibility – you can connect with a therapist in the way that suits you best, whether that is via video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging. This range of options makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule and to engage in the format that feels most comfortable.
Therapists offering online work are licensed professionals, and if you decide a different fit would be better you can switch therapists at any time. For many people, online therapy provides an accessible and effective route to getting support when dealing with everyday mental health and relationship concerns.
