Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hi and welcome to my page. I am a UK registered counsellor with 3 years professional experience through my private practice, and prior this 25 years experience as a homeless support worker.
I specialise in working with people struggling with alcohol issues but I also support clients with a range of other issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, eating disorders, post traumatic stress disorder, trauma and the menopause.
I have specialist experience in working with people who want support around their alcohol use, which has included those who want to get sober, as well as those who want to drink more mindfully. I am an Accredited Sober Coach and can use this knowledge within my counselling practice to support clients on a therapeutic level.
Often our experiences in life can impact our ability to get in touch with our true authentic selves, and can cause us to feel anxious or imbalanced. Maybe you are struggling on with life’s problems with no support, or perhaps you are feeling overwhelmed by life, disconnected from others and misunderstood. Whatever the issue or situation I hope I can help. Our sessions are a safe space where you can gently explore areas in your life without judgment, shame, or pressure.
I am a ‘Person Centred Integrative’ counsellor, and as such realise and recognise the human potential in everyone. I believe that the strength of the counselling relationship itself is what supports people to realise their full potential and facilitate change. I will support you on the journey you wish to follow.
I am willing to arrange appointment times out of my schedule such as evenings and weekends.
