Many people wonder whether remote therapy can produce meaningful results. For the most common difficulties – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship problems or navigating life transitions – online therapy has been found to be as effective as conventional in-person treatment in helping people manage these concerns.
A major benefit is flexibility. People can meet their therapist in the format that suits them best, whether that is a video call, a phone appointment, live chat or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to fit therapy into busy lives and to access support from different locations.
All therapists involved are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to change therapists if they feel a different fit would be better. For many, online therapy offers a practical, evidence-informed way to work on mental health and wellbeing without the need to attend face-to-face appointments.
