Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a 28 year-old licensed CBT therapist based in Scotland. During my 3 years of experience working as a therapist, I’ve helped clients with various issues, including depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, low self-esteem, social anxiety, anger management, abusive or strained relationships, work & school stress, sexual abuse, and self-harm. I’ve also worked with people who are not quite sure what’s wrong, who’ve felt like their problems are not “severe enough” to get therapy, or who simply wanted a space to talk. Come as you are! If you feel like there’s a problem you want to talk over with someone, you deserve a space that allows that.
My style of therapy is very collaborative. The guiding principle of my approach is that you are the expert in the counselling room. I want to ensure that what we’re doing together is happening on your terms, at your pace. I want you to feel safe to share doubt and apprehension about therapy or the ideas I bring forward. There are no one-size-fits-all solutions, and my job is to help you find one that is helpful for you.
I hope that you find the therapeutic relationship that you deserve. Thank you for considering me!

Kosma Raisanen is a 28 year-old licensed CBT therapist based in Scotland. Over three years of clinical practice, he has supported people facing depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, low self-esteem, social anxiety, anger management, abusive or strained relationships, work and school stress, sexual abuse, and self-harm. He also works with those who are uncertain what is wrong, who feel their concerns are not “severe enough” for therapy, or who simply want a space to talk. He welcomes clients to come as they are.
His approach to therapy is collaborative and client-centered. Kosma treats the person in the room as the expert on their own experience and seeks to shape the work to match each client’s preferences and pace. He aims to create a space where people can name doubts or apprehension about therapy or the ideas that arise during sessions. Recognising there are no one-size-fits-all solutions, his role is to help find strategies and perspectives that are useful for each individual.
Kosma hopes people find the therapeutic relationship they deserve and thanks readers for considering him as a therapist.
Many people wonder whether online therapy can truly help. For many common concerns, such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit is flexibility. Clients can connect with their therapist in the format that suits them best – video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This range of options can make it far easier to fit therapy into a busy routine.
Licensed professionals provide online therapy, and if a particular therapist is not the right fit it is possible to switch to someone else. For those seeking accessible, adaptable support, online therapy offers a practical route to consistent care.
