Her therapeutic style is warm and empathic, encouraging clients to explore what is happening for them with a sense of kindness and self-compassion. For many common concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life changes – online therapy can be as effective as traditional in-person sessions. Research and clinical practice have found that remote therapy works well for these kinds of issues for most people.
One major benefit is flexibility. People can connect in the way that suits them best – by video call, phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging – which makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life or to access support from different locations.
Therapists offering online work are licensed professionals, and clients are free to change therapists if they feel a different fit would be better. Online therapy can offer a practical, accessible route to regular therapeutic support without changing the core aims of the work.
