Kevin Wilde is a licensed, BACP-registered counsellor and psychotherapist with five years of clinical experience working for the NHS and in private practice. He has supported people dealing with stress and anxiety, coping with grief and loss, depression, and significant life changes.
He works from the view that each person is the expert in their own story and brings strengths that can be used to meet challenges. His approach aims to help clients draw on those strengths in a positive, constructive way and to offer steady support as they take steps toward a more fulfilling life.
He is qualified to practice Rewind Therapy and is trained as a clinical hypnotherapist; he notes that these qualifications are offered separately and are not part of therapy on BetterHelp. Kevin values the therapeutic relationship as a genuine route to healing and, where appropriate, seeks to level any power imbalance through personal disclosure to illustrate theory.
He encourages people to make the first brave step toward change and often reminds them: “Remember, you need to exist.”
