Many people ask whether online therapy can really help. For a range of common concerns – including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties and navigating life changes – online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
Online work also offers practical flexibility. Clients can choose the mode of contact that suits them best, whether that means video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging. This flexibility can make it simpler to fit ongoing therapy into a busy life.
Therapists offering online sessions are licensed professionals, and clients retain the option to change therapists if they would prefer a different fit. For many people, these factors make online therapy a convenient and effective way to access mental health support.
