Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Colorado. The majority of my experience stems from working with high school students within a school setting. In my role as a high school counselor I helped students with their academic, social/emotional, and post-secondary needs. My past experience also includes working with middle school students in the school setting. In addition, I am an adjunct professor at the University of Northern Colorado. My role at the university includes teaching a variety of courses, and supervision of students both in the school and clinical settings.
I am a Colorado Native and attended Colorado State University where I earned a Master’s Degree in School Counseling and a PhD in Education and Human Resource Studies. I am a retired educator with 30 years in the field. However, I am still a part-time adjunct professor at UNC.
I believe my role as a counselor is to partner with you, my client, as you navigate through presenting concerns. I want to hear your story and help you set meaningful and achievable goals. As you work through whatever is impeding your ability to be where you want to be, I will be there to support you. I approach the counseling relationship with compassion, empathy, and sensitivity.
I incorporate a variety of counseling theory into my practice as a professional counselor including, but not limited to, Solution Focused, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Brief Therapy.
I look forward to partnering with you, and I am excited that you took the first step toward personal growth, and leading a productive and meaningful life.

Many people wonder whether online therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or managing life transitions, online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person care.
A major benefit is flexibility – clients can connect in the way that suits them best, choosing video sessions, phone calls, live chat, or in-app messaging. This variety makes it easier to fit therapy into busy schedules and to maintain continuity of care when life gets complicated.
Licensed professionals deliver care via these remote formats, and if the fit isn’t right a client can switch therapists to find a better match. For many people, online therapy offers an accessible, adaptable way to address everyday mental health and relationship concerns while working toward meaningful change.
