Aydah Elnemr-Arkzat

Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships

About

My name is Aydah Elnemr-Arkzat, MSW, LCSW. I earned my Master’s in Social Work (MSW) from the University of Southern California (USC), and I bring over 15 years of experience in mental health treatment. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals from diverse cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds—including children, adolescents, families, adults, and older adults.
Currently, I offer telehealth services exclusively to clients aged 16 and older. I am trained in a comprehensive range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including trauma-focused therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), grief and loss counseling, treatment for eating disorders, somatic and body-centered approaches, as well as the assessment and evidence-based treatment of anxiety and depression.

I am also currently pursuing certification in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs) to better support individuals navigating mental health challenges during the reproductive and postpartum periods.

My therapeutic approach is integrative and client-centered. I am committed to creating a supportive, nonjudgmental environment in which healing and growth can occur at a pace that feels safe, collaborative, and empowering for each individual.

Is Online Therapy the Right Step Toward Better Mental Health?

Many people wonder whether therapy delivered remotely can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions. One major benefit is flexibility – clients can choose the format that fits their needs and lifestyle, including video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to integrate therapy into a busy routine. Licensed professionals provide online therapy, and clients have the option to switch therapists at any time if they need a different fit. For many people, remote therapy provides an accessible, effective way to address everyday mental health concerns and life transitions.
