Monika Scott-Rogers

Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships

About

There are times when our past can creep up into our present and take charge. Doing the best we can with the skills we have, we attempt to triumph over pain, heartache, trauma, fears, etc. However, there are times when we feel broken no matter how hard we try to put the pieces back together. Although we cannot change the past, we can put the pieces back together and still be beautiful; different yet beautiful. I like to think of therapy like the art of kintsugi, putting our broken pieces back together with a gold bond.
I hope to offer you a space to process thoughts and to add to your current toolbox of coping skills. Practicing since 2010, I am trained in various evidenced based practices.
I believe that treatment needs to be individualized in order to focus on the whole of the person (the individual and the systems (i.e., family, peers, etc.) that surround that person).
There is a passion to provide a service to those who are in need and desire to be a willing participant in their wellbeing. I hope to be a service where you feel that you can heal, grow and learn.

About

Monika Scott-Rogers invites people to explore how the past can influence the present and, at times, take control of daily life.

She acknowledges that people do their best with the skills they have, and that efforts to overcome pain, trauma, fear, or heartache do not always feel sufficient. Although the past cannot be changed, Monika believes those broken pieces can be reassembled into something whole and beautiful, drawing on the image of kintsugi – the art of repairing pottery with a gold bond.

Practicing since 2010, Monika brings 15 years of clinical experience and training in a range of evidence-based approaches. She aims to provide a calm space for processing thoughts and for expanding a client’s coping toolbox, while tailoring treatment to the individual and the systems that surround them, such as family or peers.

Monika holds a South Carolina Licensed Professional Counselor credential (SC LPC 7436) and is committed to serving people who are ready to participate in their own wellbeing. Her goal is to offer a therapeutic relationship where clients can heal, grow, and learn.

Is Online Therapy the Right Step Toward Better Mental Health?

Many people wonder whether meeting with a therapist remotely makes a meaningful difference. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions. A major benefit is flexibility – clients can choose the format that fits their needs, whether that is video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility can make it easier to maintain continuity of care and integrate therapy into a busy schedule. Licensed professionals provide these services, and if a different therapeutic fit is desired, clients are free to switch therapists at any time. Online therapy can offer a practical, adaptable option for people seeking support for common mental health concerns.
