About

I have a Bachelors in Economics and a Masters in Mental Health Counseling. I have been working in human services for the past 26 years and 4 years of counseling in a variety of different settings. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, ADHD and career challenges. I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse. I enjoy helping people and I do this through the use of the following therapeutic models:

– Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT),
– Motivational Interviewing (MI) and
– Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)
I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs within these evidenced based therapeutic models. These models have demonstrated efficacy in producing positive outcomes for persons that are predisposed to a myriad of disorders including:
– Stress,
– Anxiety,
– Depression,
– Major life adjustments and
– Addiction
It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you!

How to Know If Online Therapy Is Right for You

Many people ask whether online therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions for most people.

A major advantage is flexibility – you can connect in the way that fits your life and comfort level, whether through video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to schedule and sustain care during busy or transitional periods.

These services are provided by licensed professionals and therapists, and if you decide you want a different match, you can switch providers at any time. Online therapy can be a practical option for many people seeking consistent, evidence-based support for everyday mental health challenges.
