Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
You are Courageous! Thank you for taking a step to take care of yourself and your well-being. I am here to support you on your journey toward healing and peace of mind.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). My 20 years plus of psychotherapy experience has afforded me to work with a variety of clients whose concerns include: depression, anxiety, relationship issues, family/parenting problems, and career challenge. I see clients in the context of individual, family and couple’s therapy. My clinical focus includes Depression, Substance Abuse, Intimate Partner Violence, Women’s Issues, Perinatal Family and Couples, Mood Disorders and Postpartum Depression, Anxiety, Parenting Issues, Life Transitions, Stress Management and Spirituality.
My style is warm and engaging. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don’t believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach to therapy is assessed and conceptualized from a Family Systems Approach. This means that I understand individuals based on how they are connected to and relate to others (family, social connections, work, community, etc.) and assist people in gaining awareness of patterns of relationships that are not working well that impact their everyday function in life. I assist in creating new ways of interacting to relieve distress. I also utilize other treatment modalities (Solution-Focused, Cognitive-Behavioral, and Adlerian) to assist one in reaching their full potential of victory and restoration.
Congratulations on taking steps toward change and becoming a better and happier version of YOU! I am here to support and empower you. I look forward in assisting you on your journey.
