Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships

About

Hello! I am a licensed professional counselor in Georgia with 27 years experience and a certification in DBT. I have worked with a variety of age clients in many settings such as community clinics and forensic institutions. My passion is assisting those who have experienced or are experiencing issues such as childhood trauma, domestic violence, emotional, psychological, sexual and physical abuse. Additionally, I have experience working with issues including stress, depression and anxiety. You are embarking on a process that, at times, will seem very difficult. You will need someone to whom you can speak openly about your experiences, emotions and issues you may never have felt ready to deal with.
Therapy is you and I, working together in a safe and comfortable space to focus on your challenges. I am a confidential sounding board who is not easily shocked and very comfortable with listening about life’s darker details.
I have a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Georgia College and State University, one of the top Liberal Arts Regional Universities in the South. My therapy style is client-centered and interactive. My approach is eclectic combining RET, CBT, DBT, psychodynamic, motivational interviewing and reality therapy. I will tailor our sessions and treatment plan to meet your specific needs.
I would be honored to work with you on your journey toward change. It takes courage to take those first steps. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you!

Is Online Therapy the Right Step Toward Better Mental Health?

Many people wonder whether remote therapy can really help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or major life transitions, online therapy has been found to be as effective as traditional in-person care for most people. A major benefit is flexibility – clients can choose the mode of connection that fits their life, including video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. That adaptability makes it easier to maintain consistency in treatment when schedules are busy or travel is difficult. Sessions are provided by licensed professionals and therapists, and if someone decides the match is not right, they may switch to a different therapist at any time. For many individuals, online therapy provides a practical, accessible way to engage in meaningful therapeutic work without sacrificing quality of care.
