Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Welcome and let me introduce myself! My name is Catherine Kolleth and I am dually licensed as a professional clinical counselor and a marriage and family therapist in Ohio. I have been in the profession for over 12 years, and in that time I have worked with a large variety of clients. I started working in a mental health residential treatment facility for adolescents, then worked in community health care, substance abuse residential treatment and private practice. Needless to say, I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, addictions and LGBTQ+ hurdles. I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse heal and become healthier and embrace the happiness in their lives.
My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, without stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive, dialectial behavioral, systems, client centered and solution focused therapies, as well as any other therapeutic pieces that are appropriate to help you attain your goals. I will respect your unique and specific needs for treatment planning and goal creation, as you are the ultimate expert in your life.
Finding the right fit to help you navigate your life challenges is very important for success and I understand that. I work with my clients to help them identify changes they want to make, help them find ways to incorporate these changes into their lives and help them problem solve when necessary. Change can be daunting, although very rewarding in the long run. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you!

Many people ask whether online therapy can truly help. For a range of common concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or adjusting to life changes – online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions for most people.
A major benefit of remote therapy is flexibility. Individuals can connect with therapists in the format that suits them best – video sessions, phone calls, live chat, or in-app messaging – making it simpler to fit care into a busy schedule.
Sessions are provided by licensed professionals, and clients have the option to change therapists if they want a different match. Online therapy offers a convenient path to consistent support while addressing many everyday mental health and relationship concerns.
