Hi, I’m Rasheed Ojerinde. I am a licensed mental health therapist with 6 years of experience providing direct mental health and behavioral counseling. I have worked with individuals ages five to late adulthood with a variety of presenting issues.
As a dedicated bicultural millennial therapist with a passion for helping others, I like to approach the therapeutic relationship with a keen sensitivity and respect for multicultural factors. I recognize the importance of understanding and respecting differences in beliefs, values, and attitudes when working with clients from different cultural and social backgrounds.
My experience varies across many settings, as I have provided therapy services at community mental health agencies, state clinics, general hospitals, and day treatment facilities. My specialty and passion for therapy lies in exploring intimacy/trust issues, ADHD symptoms, emotional regulation, anxiety disorders, and depression symptoms. It is my experience that therapy can be most effective from an integrative and holistic approach. My therapy style and approach draws influence from Solution-Focused, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Feminist Therapy, Psychoanalytic Therapy, and Structural Therapy. I see therapy as a collaborative effort where our knowledge and skills are combined to create unique solutions to your challenges.
