Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Aloha and welcome to BetterHelp! My name is Sherilyn Cho and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Hawai’i, as well as a National Certified Counselor (NCC), having worked as an Intensive In Home therapist and as a skills trainer within the school setting. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and families in helping them to navigate the challenges in their lives and the understanding that everyone deals with their own personal issues that can make the day to day of life difficult at times. I provide support and encouragement through a collaborative approach with clients in recognizing their strengths and full potential. I will help clients to build on skills to make positive changes within themselves and in making life’s challenges a little easier to manage.
I look forward to providing you support and guidance to handle life’s challenges and be able to gain better understanding of the difficulties we face with mental health concerns. I am here to listen with an open mind and know that everyone has their own way of coping and handling what may be stressful in their personal lives.

Many people ask whether online therapy can truly help. For a variety of common concerns – including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and navigating life changes – remote therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person treatment.
One major benefit is flexibility. Individuals can choose the mode of connection that suits them best – video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – making it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule or unique circumstances.
All therapists involved are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to change therapists at any time if they want to try a different fit. This combination of proven effectiveness and practical convenience makes online therapy a viable option for many seeking support.
