Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello there!
My name is Zeinab Moghnieh, I am a Qualified Psychotherapist working at Betterhelp.
I am an empathic listener who is committed to providing a safe and non-judgemental space that will allow you to feel comfortable in bringing whatever you want into the therapy room. Whether you are feeling stressed, anxious, dealing with cultural pressures, looking to nourish the important relationships in your life or even if you don’t have a “why”. That’s okay!
Therapy is all about going on a self-discovery journey which increases your self-awareness and along the way allows you to understand the nature of your thoughts, emotions, and triggers and how your patterns of behaviour have a big impact on your daily living.
I believe that society’s pressures have instilled feelings of fear and shame that may stop us living a more aligned and empowered life. My aim is to help guide you on how you can be the person you want to be, to be at peace with the decisions you make, focusing on your core values, to live a life of meaning and purpose.
You are the most important person in the works! – I use an integrative approach which means that no set plan works the same for two people. We will work at your own pace and aim on finding what approaches and modalities work best for you.
I have completed a MA programme in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy at the University of Roehampton. I trained in Humanistic, Psychodynamic approaches and Cognitive behavioural therapy. I am a registered member of British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and abide by its code of ethics.
Alongside my training, I volunteered at the Listening Place working with people who are experiencing suicidal thoughts and feelings and at Age UK, supporting the elderly who experience loneliness. I have years of experience caring for vulnerable adults as a Mental Health Recovery Worker.
While providing emotional support, I create meaningful relationships with the individuals I care for and take pride in my integrity, humility, and ability to deliver the most effective support.
I work with one to one individual and adult therapy (16+). I am currently available for both short and long-term work.
Thank you for reading this and I am here for you.

Zeinab Moghnieh is a qualified psychotherapist working at Betterhelp in the United Kingdom with 3 years of clinical experience.
She offers an empathic, non-judgemental space where people can bring whatever they need to work on – whether they are feeling stressed, anxious, navigating cultural pressures, looking to improve important relationships, or even if they do not have a clear reason for seeking therapy.
Therapy with Zeinab focuses on self-discovery and increasing self-awareness, helping clients understand their thoughts, emotions, triggers, and how habitual patterns influence everyday life.
She believes societal pressures can create fear and shame that prevent people from living in greater alignment with their values. Her aim is to guide clients toward becoming the person they want to be, finding peace with their decisions, and living with meaning and purpose.
Zeinab uses an integrative approach – there is no single plan that fits everyone – and she works at each person’s pace to identify the approaches and modalities that suit them best.
She completed an MA, a master’s degree, in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy at the University of Roehampton and trained in humanistic and psychodynamic approaches as well as cognitive behavioural therapy. She is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and follows its code of ethics.
Alongside formal training, Zeinab volunteered at the Listening Place supporting people experiencing suicidal thoughts and feelings, and at Age UK providing support to older adults facing loneliness. She also has experience caring for vulnerable adults while working as a Mental Health Recovery Worker.
She works one-to-one with individuals aged 16 and over and is available for both short-term and long-term therapy. Zeinab aims to build meaningful therapeutic relationships and brings integrity and humility to her work.
Many people ask whether online therapy can really help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions.
A major benefit is flexibility – clients can choose the mode of connection that suits them best, whether that is video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility can make it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule and to access support from different locations.
Therapists offering online work are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to switch therapists if they need a different fit. For many people, online therapy provides an accessible and practical way to address everyday mental health concerns and to maintain continuity of care while balancing other commitments.
