My name is Wendy, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Minnesota. My typical availability is from 10am-3:30pm Central time (Monday-Friday).
I’ve provided counseling to individuals, couples, and families for over ten years in a variety of settings. Some of the issues I have helped clients work through include relationship issues, communication struggles, depression, anxiety, parenting concerns, divorce and infidelity.
While I tailor my therapeutic approach to each individual client and their specific needs, my overall approach to therapy is client centered, strengths based, and solution focused . I believe that we all have everything we need to live our best lives, and sometimes we just need someone to partner with us to provide support, help us focus on our goals, and process through all that this life can bring up for us.
Reaching out to find a counselor is a huge step, and I’m happy you decided to take it. If you think we would be a good fit and you’re ready to get started, I am here. I look forward to accompanying you on your journey.

Many people wonder whether online therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person care.
One major benefit is flexibility. Clients can connect in the way that feels most comfortable – through video sessions, phone calls, live chat, or in-app messaging – which can make it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule.
These services are provided by licensed professionals and therapists, and clients can change therapists at any time if they prefer a different fit. The range of communication options and professional credentials make online therapy a practical choice for many people seeking support.
