Hi, I’m Vicky an integrative therapist with 3 years of experience working in clinical practice. I have experience in supporting clients with a wide range of mental health problems, including anxiety, stress, bereavement, trauma and addiction. I have been running my own Private Practice VJM Counselling for nearly 2 years.
Before I qualified as a counsellor I worked in health and social care as a health care assistant, mainly in dementia care. I worked in this sector for over 20 years and bring my knowledge and experience into the counselling room if required.
My therapy style is quite laid back, with the focus always on the client and what they need. My approach combines person centred therapy, CBT, mindfulness and psychoeducation. I am passionate about breaking the stigma around mental health and helping people to understand themselves.
