Hi, my name is Vickie. I have moved to UK with my family from Hong Kong in 2022. I have worked as a counsellor for over 15 years in Hong Kong. I can speak English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
I am a Registered Counsellor from BACP (British Association for Counseling and Psychotherapy). I am also attained a Professional Certificate in the Use of Satir Growth Model in Individual and Family Therapy, as well as a Professional Certificate in Sex Therapy and I am a Certified Sex Therapist . In addition, I hold a Master Degree in Counselling from Australia since 2006.
I am a full time counsellor and sex therapist . I used to work in hospitals and social services organizations providing counseling services mainly to people with mental health issues. In the past 10 years, I have expertise in working with people with work stress, relationship issues, mental health, crisis intervention and sex therapy etc in EAP settings.
My counselling approach is more on family therapy based with humanistic theories, such as Satir’s model, I also believe that we are all miracles and we have all our inner resources to dealing with our life challenges.

Vickie Wai Hay Chan moved to the United Kingdom from Hong Kong with her family in 2022. She is a registered counsellor with the British Association for Counseling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and brings 18 years of professional experience, including more than 15 years practising in Hong Kong.
She speaks English, Cantonese and Mandarin. Vickie holds a Master Degree in Counselling from Australia (2006), a Professional Certificate in the Use of Satir Growth Model in Individual and Family Therapy, and a Professional Certificate in Sex Therapy, and she is a Certified Sex Therapist.
Working full time as a counsellor and sex therapist, she has provided counselling in hospitals and social service organisations, primarily supporting people with mental health issues. Over the past 10 years she has developed focused experience addressing work stress, relationship difficulties, mental health concerns, crisis intervention and sex therapy in EAP settings.
Her approach is rooted in family therapy principles and humanistic theories such as Satir’s model. Vickie believes that people possess inner resources to meet life’s challenges and that therapy is a collaborative journey of uncovering those strengths.
She welcomes those who wish to explore their inner resources and strengthen their self-help abilities, and offers to accompany them through that process.
