I am licensed in Oklahoma with 32 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with grief and loss, anger management, & motivation, self esteem, and confidence. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage.
I have thirty two years experience in the mental health field. I attended the University of Tulsa and Oklahoma University. I am licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have worked in psychiatric hospitals, residential hospitals, ICF facilities, in-home services and nursing homes. I have worked with children and families, clients with multiple challenges, physical and mental, adults and geriatric population that have given me a well rounded perspective. My style of therapy is always non judgemental and empowering. My goal is to help find a solution that fits the client. I changed careers and became a therapist after having a career in the business/sales field after my father died. I keep active playing and coaching sports. I still play ice hockey and coached for twenty years, I am a boxer and coach boxing. I am an enrolled citizen of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma.

Thomas Zumwalt is a licensed clinical social worker practicing in Oklahoma with 32 years of experience in the mental health field. Thomas adopts a nonjudgmental and empowering therapeutic style, aiming to help each person find solutions that fit their life. He transitioned into therapy after a prior career in business and sales following the death of his father. Outside of his clinical work he remains active in sports – he plays and coaches, has played ice hockey, coached ice hockey for twenty years, and is both a boxer and a boxing coach.
He is an enrolled citizen of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma. Thomas is available to support individuals taking the first steps toward a more fulfilling and happier life.
