Stefan Nowosielski is a person-centred, integrative counsellor working with adults in the United Kingdom. He brings four years of clinical experience and is a member of the BACP, the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy.
His practice is grounded in a person-centred approach and is supported by elements of transactional analysis, mindfulness, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and solution-focused strategies. He is also trained in the Rewind technique for traumas, PTSD and OCD.
Stefan works with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, bereavement, OCD, depression, workplace stress, relationship difficulties, borderline personality disorder, anger, low self-esteem, addiction, sexual trauma and self-harm. He also offers support for issues such as family and relationship matters, intimacy, sleep problems, parenting, career challenges and ADHD.
He offers time and space to explore whatever a person wishes to bring, listening closely to each individual perspective. Through collaborative work he aims to help people increase their self-understanding and improve their relationships, so they can make changes that suit their life and wellbeing.
Stefan strives to provide warmth and honesty and treats people as fellow humans rather than subjects to be analysed. He supports adults from all backgrounds, cultures and identities and works from a non-religious, liberal stance as a male therapist.
If someone feels they need support and would like to speak with him, they are invited to get in touch.
For many common concerns - such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges or navigating life changes - online therapy has been found to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions.
A major benefit is flexibility. People can connect with therapists in the way that fits their needs and routines, whether through video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging. This flexibility can make it easier to fit therapy into a busy life.
Each therapist is a licensed professional, and if someone feels a different match would work better they are able to switch therapists at any time. Online therapy offers a practical and accessible option for many who are seeking support with everyday mental health and life challenges.
