Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
In my practice, I work with each person individually, and use the client’s goals to inform the types of therapy I use in each session. I primarily use cognitive based models to help clients change thinking patterns, and use behavioral therapies to help clients change unhelpful habits. I like to help clients better utilize their innate strengths, hobbies, relationships, and healthy belief systems to help create change in their lives. I view the human person from a body-mind-soul perspective. It is my goal to help clients address deficiencies, and grow in each domain of person-hood, whether that be growing in their spiritual beliefs, developing healthy coping skills, or overcoming obstacles both big and small.
I have a Master’s in Counseling Education from West Texas A&M University. I am fully credentialed as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I have worked in various mental health facilities ranging from juvenile detention centers, to domestic violence shelters, and mental health hospitals. I have provided counseling to individuals, and couples, as well as, facilitated group therapy for clients from all walks of life. I have worked with all types of clients ranging from individuals in need of general support, to running groups for people with severe mental illnesses, or suffering from chemical dependency.
I help people break free from addiction, heal from trauma, overcome depression, and confront their daily anxieties. I specialize in helping clients change habits and thought patterns that stop them from living to their full potential.
