Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hi everyone! My name is Shoko, and I am a licensed practitioner in Australia. I am passionate using my personal experiences to support others facing challenges like depression, anxiety, addictions, low self-esteem, and other mental health concerns. Having overcome my own life challenges and moving from Canada, I earned my Master of Social Work degree and now have over four years of experience working with people dealing with mental health concerns and complex backgrounds.
My previous roll with the government department of child protection provided me with invaluable insights, and I am currently dedicated to working with an organisation that focuses on rehabilitating offenders.
I am dedicated to creating a safe, non-judgmental space for you to talk about your feelings and experiences.
I know what is like to reach out for help, and I know how tough that can be. I am here to listen and walk alongside you, offering support as you navigate your personal challenges and work towards your goals. You can openly talk about your feelings and experiences in a safe, non-judgemental space.
A bit about me: I love motorcycles, skateboarding, and music! I’m fluent in both English and Japanese.

For many common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties and navigating life changes, online therapy has been found to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit is flexibility – clients can connect in the way that suits them best, whether through video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging. This flexibility often makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life.
Each therapist is a licensed professional, and clients have the option to switch therapists if they feel a different fit would be more helpful.
