Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in North Carolina. I have 35 years of agency experience working with adults in individual and group therapy. I practice client-centered therapy with a problem solving and skills training approach. I provide a very supportive and validating environment at all times with my clients. I like to begin by assessing and exploring along with you what you are experiencing as difficulty and what you feel you need or want in the counseling experience. This process continues as long as we work together.
I will also introduce skills training practices to help in coping with and responding to your areas of difficulty. These skills will help you gain strength in developing focus, relaxation, and interpersonal skills, and reducing anxiety, distress, and emotional upheaval. We will also focus on problem-solving skills and making plans or choices when needed.

Many people wonder whether online therapy can truly make a difference. For common concerns – including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and adjusting to life changes – research and practice indicate that online therapy is comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person care.
One key advantage is flexibility. Clients can connect in the format that fits their needs and schedules best – video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – which often makes it easier to incorporate therapy into daily life.
Licensed professionals provide care remotely, and clients are free to switch therapists at any time if they want a different therapeutic fit.
