Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
My name is Shannon and I am an LCSW in Norman, OK. I have worked in a therapeutic setting for over 18 years and still feel it is my calling. I have worked in youth and family centers, been a coordinator for in-school therapy, a manager for Victims of Crime Act, worked with the court and prison systems, completed assessment and referral for SMI individuals, and have been in private practice.
My therapy style is relaxed, warm and my approach is CBT, Psychodynamic and the empowerment approach. I believe we all have strengths and once we begin to recognize them we will begin to use them and will continue to build. I look forward to working with you.

Many people wonder whether receiving therapy online can truly help. For commonly experienced concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life transitions, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit is the flexibility it offers – you can choose the way of connecting that works best for you, whether that is a video session, a phone call, live chat, or in-app messaging. This range of options makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule and to engage in the format that feels most comfortable.
Therapists who provide online services are licensed professionals, and if someone needs a different fit they can switch to another therapist at any time. For many people, that combination of demonstrated effectiveness and practical convenience makes online therapy a compelling option.
