Hi! My name is Shannon (wife and mother of 3 first). I feel like saying that first let’s you know I wear many hats such as doctor, nurse, confidant, lawyer, peacemaker, etc. I am also a professional counselor licensed in Georgia with over 14 years of experience working as a mental health therapist/counselor. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, anger issues, mood instability, and daily/life stress. I also helped many people who have experienced various types trauma and/or emotional abuse.
My therapy style is welcoming and engaging. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I don’t presume to know it all and I like my clients to understand I am human just as they are and I am here solely to assist them in their own journey to a more optimistic mental state. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, holistic, and solution-focused therapy. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
