Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Greetings.
My name is Sarah O’Halla MA, LPC. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Michigan. I earned my bachelor’s degree in education from Michigan State University, and a master’s degree in counseling from Oakland University (2001). My professional experience started as a science teacher, and eventually transitioned to a high school counselor. I am the proud mom of three daughters. My greatest professional passion has been providing mental health support. I have worked in mental health related fields for 5 years, specializing in anxiety, depression, relationship issues and divorce.
My therapeutic approach is cognitive behavioral therapy, whereby we work together to challenge ways of thinking that affect feelings and behaviors. Together we develop new perspectives and personal coping strategies that help you focus on solving current problems. I believe that your experiences and challenges are unique, and I will individualize your care using a holistic approach that addresses the variables impacting your life. My goal is to guide you in your life journey toward growth, healing, empowerment and peace.
